The bottle head valve is installed on the mouth of the cylinder that stores the fire extinguishing agent in the gas fire extinguishing system. The bottle head valve has the functions of fire extinguishing agent filling, high-pressure storage, pressure display, manual operation of fire extinguishing agent spraying, and pneumatic operation of fire extinguishing agent spraying. The bottle head valve body generally includes a bottle pressure chamber, an air pressure chamber, an exhaust chamber, and a valve body control component arranged in the bottle pressure chamber to separate the bottle pressure chamber and the exhaust chamber.

Bottle head valve classification:

The bottle head valve is actually a container valve, which refers to a control valve installed at the outlet of the fire extinguishing agent storage container. Its function is to seal the fire extinguishing agent. In the event of a fire, it can be automatically or manually opened to release the fire extinguishing agent. Therefore, it has the functions of sealing, releasing, filling, and overpressure relief (part of the structure).

1. According to the purpose, it is divided into two categories: the container valve on the fire extinguishing agent bottle set and the container valve on the driven gas bottle set;

2. According to the sealing form, it is divided into two categories: piston seal and diaphragm seal;

3. According to the structural form, it is divided into three categories: diaphragm type, self-sealing type and pressure arm type;

4. According to the starting method, it is divided into six categories: pneumatic start type, electromagnetic start type, electric explosion start type, manual start type, mechanical start type and combined start type.

Working principle of bottle head valve:

The bottle head valve and the selector valve both have back pressure start mode and electric start mode. When the power is turned on or there is a certain pressure of gas in the pipeline, the valve needle will be pushed down. The gas in the cylinder will be pushed down by the valve needle and released to the valve body through a small pipeline. When the air pressure in the valve body reaches a certain level, the main valve will be pushed open and the gas will be released into the pipeline. The details will depend on the drawing of the valve. The principles are the same, but the actuator will be different.

Bottle head valve structure type:

There are two common structural types of bottle head valves, one is a lever type bottle head valve, and the other is a pneumatic bottle head valve. The following are the structural types and components of the two bottle head valves:
