Water curtain nozzles are spray devices fixed in the pipes of the water curtain system. They are used to continuously spray water to form a water curtain, protect surfaces threatened by fire and form fireproof separations. They are usually suitable for large factories, workshops, halls, theaters, stages and doors, windows, openings and other parts of buildings or between adjacent buildings.

Working principle of open water curtain nozzle:

When a fire occurs, the detection and alarm device alarms and opens the deluge alarm valve to supply water to the pipe network system. When the water flows through the nozzle of the open water curtain sprinkler, dense granular water droplets are sprayed from the semicircular opening in a predetermined direction to form a water curtain. It is used to cool and protect fire shutter doors, theater curtains, etc., and can also play a role in fire resistance and isolation.

Open water curtain nozzle performance parameters:

Working pressure: Usually the working pressure is 0.1~0.6 MPa

Water curtain exhibition angle: When the water curtain exhibition angle is less than 90°, the deviation shall not be greater than ±3°; when the water curtain exhibition angle is greater than 90°, the deviation shall not be greater than ±5°. The water curtain inclination angle deviation shall not be greater than ±3°

Flow coefficient: The difference between the average flow coefficient and the flow coefficient at each pressure point and the nominal value should not exceed ±5% of the nominal value
