Fire Suppression Water Mist Nozzle
An open type water mist nozzle is composed of a nozzle body, a nozzle, a nozzle core, a filter and other parts. After water under a certain pressure enters the nozzle through the nozzle filter, the pressure water is sprayed out of the nozzle hole at high speed, causing strong friction with the surrounding air, tearing the water flow, and forming a fine water mist that is sprayed at a certain angle. The open water mist nozzle can form droplets with a diameter of Dv0.5 < 200μm and Dv0.99 < 400μm on a plane 1m downward from the axis.
Open water mist nozzle product features:
● Professional design, precision manufacturing by CNC lathes;
● Working pressure: high, medium and low pressure (0.2 – 15Mpa);
● Shell material: stainless steel 304, 316, barss, etc.;
● Flow rate & spray angle can be customized;
● Suitable for pendent and sidewall installation;
● 100% inspection rate of key parameters.

Types of open water mist nozzles:
There are three common structural forms of open water mist nozzles: A series, B series and C series. Among them, the A series is an open ordinary frame, that is, the nozzle is embedded; the B series is an open protruding hole, that is, the nozzle is protruding; and the C series is a direct frame.

The difference between open sprinklers and closed sprinklers:
Open nozzle: without temperature sensing or locking device, it is normally open. When a fire occurs, all open sprinklers in the system protection area where the fire is located will emit water to extinguish the fire.
Closed nozzle: It is a normally closed nozzle. The temperature sensing and locking device of the nozzle will only fall off and open the nozzle under a predetermined temperature environment. Therefore, when a fire occurs, only the nozzles that are in the flame or near the fire source will be turned on to extinguish the fire.
